Converted Movie Theaters - with Heike Liss

Heike Liss and I took as our focus movie theaters that no longer operate as cinemas, but are being used as something else: grocery stores, abandoned buildings, bowling alleys and churches. In the winter of 2002 we started taking photographs in Oakland and the East Bay.
